Product Manager 🧑💻
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is an excellent problem solver and communicator, is highly engaged, able to speak geek, support the prioritisation, development, and launch of new and evolved products, developing and communicating roadmaps and rollout plans.
Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. You will develop a deep understanding of our market, customer personas, how they work, their pain points, macro trends, etc. You'll spend hours a week speaking directly with our customers to build your product intuition. The teams will look to you to be the voice of the customer in every discussion.
As our Product Manager, you will think big and use a thorough understanding of internal and external stakeholders and our business objectives to build solutions that produce new insights and opportunities for our business. We are looking for a person who is able to work backwards from ambiguous goals and build technical products that create concrete, incremental value. Demonstrated success establishing product-market fit, excitement for lean innovation approaches and comfort with ambiguity is critical.
What you’ll do:
Own your roadmap - define your vision and strategy, own it, drive it.
You won't just build what customers ask for - you're able to think strategically through customer needs, business opportunities and technical challenges when creating your roadmap.
Constantly strive to strike the right balance of innovation, product performance and core product improvements.
Being highly collaborative in your approach, you will work closely with the design and engineering team members. You make sure everyone is brought along the journey of product discovery and exploration, and support the daily decisions required to build great products efficiently at scale. You are constantly building customer empathy with the team
Lead the team from planning to prioritising feature backlog and development
Create and manage project plans, supporting documentation and hold resources accountable
Coordinate with interdependent products and departments through clear documentation, communication, and management of the project plan for on-time task completion
Work closely with the team, senior management and stakeholders to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
Monitor the product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
Hold a Bachelor Degree
5-7 years experience in Product Management including policies and best practices
Experience owning product roadmaps and executing against those.
Clear communicator. Take big, ambitious ideas and distil them down into concise, exciting talking points.
You have experience bringing the voice of the customer to an entire team and get buy-in on your ideas and strategies.
Experience with B2B SaaS products. You understand product-led growth strategies for B2B SaaS products and have implemented them before.
Pragmatism. We're looking for someone who can wear multiple hats across the entire lifecycle of product exploration, launch and adoption. You have a proven track record of making tough tradeoffs and rallying a team through difficult challenges.
Ability to effectively multitask, prioritise organize and collaborate, especially on multiple projects with competing priorities simultaneously
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Hands-on experience working in startups that are growing and transitioning to a more mature scale-up and domain expertise in user research or design software is a plus!
